Luke 18:15–17 (ESV)
15 Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them. And when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. 17 Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.”

Give us the eyes of a child, O God,
to delight in your world.
May we see your wonders anew,
hear the sounds of joy and laughter,
and discover as we play the majesty of your glory.
Keep us from closing our hearts
through arrogance and pride.
Open us to the praise that excites the soul,
through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Thank you Paul. This is so important that we share our faith with our children and grandchildren. They are the future church.
ReplyDeleteAmen. Our children have also much to teach (remind) us about aspects of faith that we may have forgotten along the way
