Dear Father, help me with my mouth. Holy Spirit, help me to control my tongue. I want to speak words that lift up and not put down. Words of encouragement, not criticism to come from my lips. Forgive me for words I have spoken about myself or anyone else. I want to be kind and daily remember that the tongue of the wise promotes healing. Fill me today with Your love, joy and peace so I may treat others with patience, respect and love. Amen
