22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
“I choose joy. I will invite my God to be
the God of circumstance. I will refuse the temptation to be cynical the tool of
the lazy thinker. I will refuse to see people as anything less than human
beings, created by God. I will refuse to see any problem as anything less than
an opportunity to see God.” Max Lucado
Father
it is in your joy that we will live today with a positive perspective as we
encounter the realities of life. May your joy overflow through us so that we
will be a source of blessing, hope and peace to others in whatever struggles
they face.
Thank
you Father for the reminder of Max Lucado that we can choose joy. May we ever remember:
“……
the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Nehemiah
8:10 (ESV)
In
the name of Jesus through whom the good news of great joy has come.
Amen
