SWEET HOUR OF PRAYER

Sweet hour of prayer
Sweet hour of prayer
That calls me from a world of care
And bids me at my Father's throne
Make all my wants and wishes known

In seasons of distress and grief
My soul has often found relief
And oft escaped the tempters snares
By thy return, sweet hour of prayer




Father God, there are 24 hours in a day. Oh, that I would take one of those to bow in prayer.  To seek your face, to be thankful for your love and care, and to know I can pour my heart out to you for all my wants and needs.  You are my Father, and long to have me take that Sweet Hour of Prayer with YOU!  I love You.  Amen.
