Bless the Lord, O my soul; And
all that is within me, bless

Every good gift and every
perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom
there is no variation or shadow of turning.
Our God and Father, as we have remembered your
benefits at our Thanksgiving Celebrations, may we always be mindful, with
continuing gratitude, that such blessings come from your gracious and faithful
hands.
Your benefits and gifts are a reminder of your
care and compassion for us. We are so appreciative of your kindness and generosity
especially in providing the generous and gracious gift of salvation. As the
Apostle Paul reminds us:
Titus 3:4-6 (NLT)
4 But—“When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, 5 he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. 6 He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior.
