Lamentations 3:22-23 (NLT)
22 The faithful love
of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. 23 Great is his
faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.
Gracious Father, we join in the song that so vividly
expresses your mercy:
Great is thy faithfulness, O God my father
There is no shadow of turning with Thee
Thou changest not, Thy compassion's, they fail not
As Thou hast been, Thou for ever will be
Great is thy faithfulness
Great is thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed thy hand hath provided
Great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me

Father thank you for the freshness of each day,
kissed as the sun rises, with your thoughtful kindness. We may not know all
that a new day brings, but we do know it is ushered in with your gracious
mercy. As the prophet Micah reminds us: “Who is
a God like unto thee…….because he delighteth in mercy.” Micah
7:18 (KJV)
Father we praise you in Jesus name.
