Then celebrate the
Festival of Harvest to honor the LORD your God. Bring him a voluntary offering
in proportion to the blessings you have received from him.
Father it is always good
for us to celebrate your generosity in response to the blessings we have
received from you. For this reason Thanksgiving Day is such a special time of
the year. A time to remember, a time to rejoice and a time renew our commitment
to you and to share with others all you have done for us.
Father may we call to mind
the admonition and encouragement of the Scripture: “Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians 4:6 (NLT)
Thank you Father for
all you have done. Thank you for your thoughtfulness, kindness, patience,
goodness, forgiveness, spiritual and material blessings. In reality, Father, more than we could ever
express, your blessings are beyond number. As the Psalmist so apply said: “17 How precious are your thoughts
about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! 18 I can’t even count
them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with
me!” Psalm 139:17-18 (NLT)
Thank you Father, in Jesus
name, for all you have done! Amen.
