Sometimes life seems hard Lord.Turn my heart away from the hardness.
Often the struggles overwhelm and defeat me.
Cause me to look up and behold your face.
The burden of my trials are weighing me down.
Bring joy into my life and help me to be happy.
I lift my heart and my hands to you Lord.
Fill me afresh with your spirit.
