Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

welcoming the day




Help us, O God, to welcome each day with thanksgiving. We welcome this day because we know our breathing in and out today is for Your purposes. You have called us to fulfill Your will, and may we approach this day with humility and submission to whatever You have for us. 

Open our lips and our hearts to sing your praise, and fill us with your loving Spirit that we may go out this day to make peace, strive for justice, and bear compassion everywhere we are called and sent. 


Amen.
