to turn evil inside out

Dearest Lord,

Each day we seem to wake to horrible news of violence and tragedy.

Bless us Lord with a heart to do good in spite of these things.

When we are tempted to respond with anger, cause peace to arise in us.

Teach us how to turn evil inside out, and bring good from bad.

Most of all Father, mold us and cause us to be instruments of your love.

We pray in the name of Jesus, the One who overcame evil.
