Have you ever been sifted by Satan?
- Satan can't sift a believer without getting God's permission to do so. The Father is in control, even in those moments when pain and heartache of life feel out of control. Keep your focus squarely on God, not on the trial of the enemy.
- Satan may sift to destroy the wheat, but God allows the sifting in order to rid us of the chaff in our lives. What Satan intends for evil, God intends for good. What Satan seeks to do to bring harm, God uses to produce purity.
When you are being sifted, remember what Jesus said to Peter. "But I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers." Luke 22:32
How precious that our Lord and Savior prays for us. Don't you know His prayers are answered.
