Isaiah 9:2 (NIV)
“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.”
“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.”

Jesus said: “I have come as a light to shine in this

dark.” John 12:46 (NLT)
No wonder the
announcement to the Shepherds by the Angel was such joyous and glorious news: "10 But the angel said to
them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be
for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has
been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to
you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with
the angel, praising God and saying, 14 "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on
whom his favor rests." Luke
2:8-14 (NIV)
Father, we join the Apostle Peter in
saying: “…..declare the praises of
him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:9b (NIV)
Thank you Father for this glorious good news long ago prophesied by
Isaiah: “….. Your light has come, and the
glory of the LORD has dawned. Isaiah
