Truly Amazing

2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLT)
……….. “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me."

Father it is amazing how one word expresses and explains your concern and compassion for us. A word of such magnitude that it can’t be measured and of such personal meaning that it reaches our deepest need. It is your amazing grace. There are things we don’t know. There are things we don’t understand. But our lack of knowledge and understanding has never limited your grace. Your grace is greater than our sin and sufficient for all of our needs.

Thank you Father that in our weakness we have your strength, in our sorrow we have your comfort, in our pain we have your assurance, in our fear we have your hope and in your hands you hold our future. This all comes through the wonder of your grace. And the abundance of that grace is through your Son, our Savior Jesus.

So then we experience the reality of (ALL) in 2 Corinthians 9:8 (ESV)
“ God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times……”

Thank you Father for this wonderful and amazing grace. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Father,

I think about the examples given in the Bible ... people such as Daniel in the lions den, or Peter sleeping in jail between the guards, and am in awe of the peace they had. They had peace in the most dangerous situations, their trust and peace is what I long for ... peace in the inner depths of my heart and mind about the things I can't control. Fill me with Your Spirit today as I read Your Word, satisfy me with Your grace and goodness and all Your provision. Let Your truth go down deep in my heart and take root to renew my mind so I stand strong in Your strength and peace.

Dear Jesus,

Help me to spread Thy fragrance everywhere I go.

Flood my soul with Thy spirit and love.

Father,

Father as I meditate on these verses, they tell me everything I need to know about You. You are love tells me about Your heart. You are good tells me about Your character. You are true tells me about Your integrity. You are holy tells me about Your nature. In your love you accept me, in your goodness you forgive me, in your truth you protect me and in your holiness you justify me.

How can I not say with the Psalmist: “My whole being will exclaim, "Who is like you, O LORD? ….." Psalm 35:10 (NIV)

Thank you Father that you have made yourself know to me not only in your creation and in your Word, but especially and particularly through your Son. Through faith in Him, Jesus, I truly and personally know You. To meditate on this is not only inspiring, it is life transforming.

God's Love

Father,

Our prayer is that we will have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep God's love is. May we experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then we will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. As we sojourn here on this earth, may we abide in You realizing our citizenship is in Heaven and looking beyond the things of this earth to the treasures of Heaven. Thank You that we can enter in and come boldly before You to present our requests today … for strength, wisdom, provision, protection and that we might always be growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We give You thanks for this awesome privilege and praise the Name of Jesus.

The love of God is greater far

Almighty God,

never invade again!

We all go through seasons of darkness in our lives. We all have seen our loved ones go through these same deep, dark times of full-on enemy oppression.

I don't know about you, but I am sick of it. I am so tired of the enemy waging war against those I love. I am so tired of satan sticking his nose in where he absolutely does NOT belong. I am sick to death of the devil!

I came across this scripture a few weeks ago and I am claiming this loud and clear for my loved ones! I am trusting and believing that God will be completely victorious over every area of their life. I am holding tight to the beautiful Word of God and I am placing my full confidence in the One who can defeat and destroy every evil that abounds in this world.

I am seeing the fruit of those prayers. I am seeing the peace of God begin to rule once again in their life. I am seeing God do what only He can do.

Does anyone else need this? Cling to this scripture. Read it and memorize it. Shout it out loud! Pray it over your precious loved ones. Believe it to the depths of your heart. And then begin to thank God for what He is going to do and for the Victory that is sure to come!!

a prayer for the weary

Heavenly Father,

We lift up your Name today. You are the Lord of lords, the Most High God. You are the God of Peace, our Shepherd, and the God who provides. May your Name be exalted.

We also know that you are the God of power and strength. And we sometimes struggle to feel your power and strength. Our hearts are broken, our bodies weary, and souls hurt. We struggle to find hope in the world without it. We struggle to find strength within ourselves.

But we know, O God, that you are the one who gives us strength. When we are weary, you provide. When we look to the world for hope, it will fail us. Yet we can always find hope in you.

We praise your Name, Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides. Please give us strength for
our weary souls.

Father, please bless those who are taking care of the elderly, the disabled, and all those who cannot take care of themselves. Give them strength and grace. Provide encouragement, and give them times for them to care for themselves. Keep them compassionate and gracious toward those in their care. Let them show the love of Jesus. Amen

Proverbs 3:11-12 "My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in."

Father, how You cherish Your children! Your love is relentless and undeserved. Even Your discipline is motivated by compassion. Teach me to accept Your correction with humble gratitude. I do not ask You to withhold Your discipline, I only ask that You grant me the wisdom and humility to learn the lesson quickly. I love You. Amen.

I praise Thee Lord,

For cleansing me from sin.

Fulfill Thy Word,

And make me pure within.

Fill me with fire,

Where once I burned with shame.

Grant my desire

Promises Kept

As We Wait

As we wait Lord help us to remember that …

… You are the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.
… You do not faint or grow weary.
… Your understanding is unsearchable.
… You give power to the faint and increase their strength.

And help us Lord to …

… Know that peace often comes as we are still before you.
… Develop patience with our situation and those around us.
… Give thanks for all you are and who you have made us to be.
… Trust you with all of our hearts and not lean on our own understanding.
