In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:4-6)There is a symbiotic relationship in spiritual growth. We plant spiritual seeds when we seek the Lord and God causes the growth of those seeds. I love that the apostle says that he is confident that God will complete the work that He started in our lives because it creates an atmosphere of grace around spiritual growth.
Thank you Father that You are working in us. You are causing us to grow. You are conforming us into the image of Your Son. Help us to be sensitive to Your presence in our lives that we would be cooperative children that help other grow.
