Rain

Dear Lord God,

It is a new day. The rain is falling and the birds are happy. I pray this day, Father God, that I would look at the world through the eyes of a child, that every gift You give would be fresh and full of wonder. May I be as thankful for the puddles as I am for the flowers. May I dance in the rain and never take a thought for my hair. May I get my feet dirty and remember that every good gift comes from You, even dirt.

It is a new day, it is raining, and I am thankful!

    Rain is always good, especially here in the desert! What a blessing....I will have to learn not to worry about my hair tho :-) Lori
