Our Father,

As we come to the end of this year help us to:

• remember the successes we had and lessons we learned;
  
• grieve the things we lost and celebrate the memories we have;
  
• be thankful for your presence in our lives and our world.

As we stand looking ahead to a new year:

• bless us with courage to walk through open doors;
  
• grace us to embrace new opportunities and the chance to start anew;
  
• help us to stay true to the person that you made us to be. 

Each day Lord, help us to live lives that honor you.
