Let love be your
highest goal!
1 Corinthians 14:1 (NLT)
1
Corinthians 13:4-8 & 13 (NLT)
“4 Love is patient and
kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does
not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being
wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever
the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is
always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. 8 ….. love
will last forever! 13 Three things will last forever—faith, hope,
and love—and the greatest of these is love.”
Father
it is clear and simple why love should be our greatest goal, because there is
no characteristic that so demonstrates the purity and passion of your heart. The
Scriptures tell us: “……. if we love each
other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.” 1 John 4:12 (NLT)
Yes
Father, loving others is the greatest fruit of our faith, the purest devotion
of our heart and the most glorious manifestation of your grace in our lives. Indeed
Lord may it be our highest goal to love you for there in we will be enabled to
love all. Thank you for your love that encompasses us, embraces us and enables
us to love like you.
In
Jesus Name who is love,
Amen
