Dear Lord,Sunday is my little granddaughter's first birthday. We are not invited. Though it makes me cry, it doesn't take me totally off guard. I already knew deep inside before her mommy told me, so Lord, please be near this sweet child as she celebrates her big day. Please be near her as she grows, keep her heart soft, and let her know somehow that even though we aren't a big part of her life right now, we love her very much. And please, Lord, could you have her mommy bring her and her big brothers over to visit sometime soon? Thanks.

ReplyDeleteMartha, my heart aches for you. I have a friend who hasn't been able to see her grandson for almost two years. They only live 30 minutes away and she prays your prayer every day. I will include you to my prayer when I pray for my friend.
