Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Trusting God

This word "trust" is an interesting word.
Its root is from the word that means
"to lie face down on the ground."

Did you know that God will sometimes knock your feet out from beneath you so that you might learn to trust Him? At that point, faith is no longer an option or a luxury; it is a necessity. To the world your situation
looks hopeless, but that is right where God wants to show Himself powerful in your life. ~Adrian Rogers

Dear Lord, - teach me to trust in You and lean not on my own understandings
so You won't have to knock my feet from beneath me to get my attention. ~Amen

  1. Thanksgiving and trust seem to go hand in hand Ron. Thanks for reminding us to trust with our heart and not lean on our head.

  2. Yes, we seem to trust more when our feet are kicked out from beneath us. Good quote from Adrian Rogers. Lord help me NOT to lean on my own understanding. Amen!
