Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Patience

Dear Lord,
Is there any way the patience could kick in here, cause I'm not sure I'm ready for any more tribulation and my family needs a mom who is nice.
Thanks so much.
Amen

  1. I resonate with that prayer Martha! Thanks for sharing it. I am reminded that sometimes patience is translated long-suffering in the scriptures and how it says in 1Peter:

"In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation."

Agreeing with you today for His support and strengthening.

  2. Praying for you dear Martha. The verse Bob chose is truly meaningful to me too.

  3. Even a lifetime on earth is a "little while" with God. I'm glad He knows what He's doing and how to chisel off my rough edges in just the right way.

  4. Are we not all clay in the potters hands... He decides what to chip away and what to remold. Melt me, mold me, fill me, use me.
