Contentment is such an essential part of living a productive life. Please join me in praying this prayer from author BJ Hoff:
Lord, grant us true contentment…Amen
Acceptance of what each day brings,
Joy in you and not in things,
Tranquility in storm or strife,
Serenity in all of life;
That when you whisper, ‘Peace, be still,’
We’ll wait upon your perfect will,
Knowing we will soon be blessed
By love that only wants our best.
Help us see that we are meant
To rest in you… and be content.

Sometimes it is so difficult to be content.. especially when it involves being content with a life filled with hardships and trials. Yet finding that place of contentment is so essential.
ReplyDeleteContentment also requires you stop and listen to what the father want to say to you and knowing that his will is not our will
ReplyDeleteBy whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

We can't trust what we see in the eyes of the flesh it will surely decieve,distract lead you away from being content,but we who believe in Yeshua(Jesus) must fully trust in him through the high seas and low seas if life
Safe to say in every situation just lift you hands,close your eyes and just thank God in all situations and say "have your way lord,not my will but thine be done"
