Acts 5:41-42 (NLT)

Father
what a contrast and conflict is evoked by the simple mention of The Name,
Jesus. It is in and through his name alone we have all the benefits of your grace.
But for him there would be no hope, no forgiveness, no future. His name is both
majestic and mighty. It is both powerful and penetrating. It is both saving and
sanctifying.
Father
I think of the song:
Jesus! oh, how sweet
the name,
Jesus! every day the same;
Jesus! let all saints proclaim
Its worthy praise forever.
Jesus! every day the same;
Jesus! let all saints proclaim
Its worthy praise forever.
Thank you Father for his worthy name and for the
life we have as the result of believing in him and for the scriptures that bear
witness to this eternal truth.
John 20:31 (NLT)
……these are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in him you will have life by the power of his name.
