Dear Father,
I come to you seeking rest. I am weary from the demands of the day. I lay down my heavy burdens, my anxieties, and my racing thoughts at your feet.Help me to stop striving and start resting in your presence. As I step into the shelter of your love, I trust you to calm my spirit and quiet my mind.Thank You for the blessing of your presence.In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Loving Lord,
I feel so lonely at times, so very alone even though I am often surrounded by crowds of people. But I also realize that the more I concentrate on my loneliness, the more alone I feel. I feel sorry for myself and become depressed and down, and I know that this is not the way that you created us to be.Lord, I ask You to show me how to fully live when I feel alone. Help me not only to cope with loneliness but to thrive in it. Help me to remember that you are with me and teaching me how to break habits that isolate me from others. Bless me to improve my self image.Help me to rise above all the negative feelings that loneliness brings, and all the negative elements that come with it. I pray that I may be enabled to embrace my loneliness in such a way that my life honors You, and becomes an encouragement to others who may be facing similar lonely feelings.In Jesus' name I pray.
