Lord, there are many ways we fall short in our relationships. We failed to carry each other’s burdens, we harbored offenses, and we judged each other’s motives. Help us to confess our sins against each other. Help us to forgive and seek forgiveness. May your Spirit heal wounds and bring unity to fractured relationships—that we might love one another as you love us.

Dearest Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your constant presence in every season of my life. As I close one chapter and step into a new beginning, I humbly ask for your strength to sustain me and for your wisdom to guide my decisions.

Help me to let go of what no longer serves your purpose for my life. Free me from fear and anxiety, replacing them with hope, faith, and confidence in your loving promises. Open my eyes and my heart to see you afresh.

Lead me with courage on this new journey. I give this new season to you, believing that you are present with me and working all things together for my good. To you I dedicate myself afresh. May your will be done in my life.

In the blessed name of Jesus and for the cause of divine love.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Please teach me to love and honor those around me in the same way. Give me a heart that elevates others, recognizing them as your precious creation. Help me to show kindness, respect, and grace in all my interactions, whether online or in person.

Remove any selfishness, arrogance, or indifference from my heart, and help me to see the image of you in everyone I meet. May my actions lift others up, rather than tearing them down, and may I live in harmony with all.

Lord, we confess that we spend much of our day thoughtlessly consuming the things around us. Our habits often lack intention and cause us to live distracted, self-focused lives. Would you bring to our attention the unhealthy ways we spend our time, energy, thoughts, talents, and money? Show us old habits to turn away from and new habits to practice. Shape us by your Spirit into more merciful people who love you and neighbor with greater intention.

a prayer when we feel alone

Loving Lord, 

I feel so lonely at times, so very alone even though I am often surrounded by crowds of people.  But I also realize that the more I concentrate on my loneliness, the more alone I feel. I feel sorry for myself and become depressed and down, and I know that this is not the way that you created us to be.

  

Lord, I ask You to show me how to fully live when I feel alone. Help me not only to cope with loneliness but to thrive in it. Help me to remember that you are with me and teaching me how to break habits that isolate me from others. Bless me to improve my self image.

 

Help me to rise above all the negative feelings that loneliness brings, and all the negative elements that come with it. I pray that I may be enabled to embrace my loneliness in such a way that my life honors You, and becomes an encouragement to others who may be facing similar lonely feelings.

In Jesus' name I pray. Amen

Dear Father,

My willpower fails me daily and I give in to temptation.
