a blessing prayer for freedom

As the bird soars high

In the free holding of the wind,

Clear of the certainty of ground,,

Opening the imagination of wings

Into the grace of emptiness

To fulfill new voyagings,

May your life awaken

To the call of its freedom

As the ocean absolves itself

Of the expectation of land,

Approaching only 

In the form of waves      

to make limit of the threshold

where water meets sand

May your heart know the patience

and the joy of seeing infinity from limitation.

May we see all endings as another beginning

May we lean into who we were created to be

and not who we default to be

May we see all limitations as freedom.
