Do Nothing

Father,

Your Son said that without Him we, Your people, can do nothing. Help us to remember that. As we enter into a new year, help not to trust in our abilities, our virtues, our organizations, or our plans, but to trust in Your power. Help us to remember that all we have comes from You, and it is all useless without Your involvement. Help us, in the final analysis, to trust in You and You alone.
