Psalms 1:2-3
"But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season and whose
leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers."
Today my prayer is that I will delight in the Word of God, thinking about it, meditating on it. Reading it by day, meditating on it in the night watches. Lord I want to be that tree planted by the steams of the Holy Spirit, producing fruit that will please you. If I prosper, then all the glory goes to You. Amen
When I think about meditating I see it not so much as an activity we do but a way that we live - day and night. Lord help us to consider your word in everything we do.
