For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, (Ephesians 3:14-17)
Continuing my thoughts on this great scripture passage on prayer.. I loved the picture of what it looks like to have Christ in our hearts.. a picture of love that has taken root.. and once rooted this love breaks ground and people begin to see its fruit.
Father, we need your help.. please water the soil of our hearts that love might grow and break forth into fruitful loving behavior and attitudes. We submit our hearts to you.
