Help us to be peacemakers

Lord,

Help me be a peacemaker in a world filled with strife and hostility.
It is hard to be a peacemaker, so help me remember the special blessing You give when I am one.
Help me to see the different perspectives that create strife.

Then help me bring Christ's light. love and wisdom to the situation.

In Jesus' Name I pray

Dear Lord,

Thank you for loving me and being present with me.

Again, I am choosing to follow you and the way of love.

Help me to forgive myself for the ways that I have failed.

Bless me to leave my selfish ways behind and live a life of love.

Give me the strength to walk in your ways, even when it is hard.

Open my eyes to see your truth and my ears to hear your voice.

Guide my steps in everything I do.

Let my life bring honor and glory to your name.
