Ephesians 3:16 (NLT)
I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.
I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.
Father what we need in our lives is the
answer to what Paul prayed for other Christians, that is the unleashed,
unhindered and unlimited strength that comes through the Holy Spirit. To be
infused, empowered and enabled by the indwelling Holy Spirit is the greatest
resource we could ever imagine or experience.
Then Father, verse 17 tells us the
results of the Holy Spirit’s work in us: “17
Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your
roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.” Ephesians
3:17-19 (NLT)
Father it is strength of soul we need,
not just to endure, but to triumph in all of life’s circumstances. That is what
the Holy Spirit does in us. So then Paul’s prayer will be answered for us as it
was for them so long ago.
