22The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. 23Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.
Father to awaken each morning with the smell of
fresh baked bread, what a pleasing aroma, and how it sets the mood for a
pleasant day. How much infinitely more joy it is to awaken with the sense of
your presence and your gracious mercy afresh each morning. In this way you make
each day special, sacred and a song to sing.
Truly, as the Psalmist wrote: “This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.”
