Grown Up Kids

Dear Lord,
It's hard being a mom of grown up kids. I can't keep my eye on them all the time, I can't tell them what to do or who to hang out with, and I don't even get to see them every day. I have to let them go and totally entrust them to Your care. Please help me remember that You love them even more than I ever could and that You are watching them all the time, just as you watched over me when I ventured out on my own so many years ago. Thank you, Lord, for being there, and thank you for that pizza delivery guy who loves his mom enough to beep whenever he drives past my house on his way to drop off an order.
Amen

  1. Oh yes, Martha...our adult children, are still our babies in our mind, and will always care what happens. I love what you say, as it's so true, God love our kids more than we ever could.
Family pretty much fills of the prayer list, doesn't it?

So true Martha! I have seen mine come back to us and been able to rejoice in their love for us.
